Concurrent enrollment

If you are a high school senior that wishes to enroll at A&M-Corpus Christi during your last year of high school, you may do so by applying for admission through our concurrent enrollment program.

What is concurrent enrollment?
Concurrent enrollment allows you to enroll for a college class or classes (pending approval) prior to graduating from high school. A student admitted to the program enjoys the same rights and privileges as a regular degree-seeking student, and is subject to the same federal rules and regulations.

What's the difference between dual credit and concurrent enrollment?
Both programs are for high school students desiring to attend college while in high school. Dual credit enables a student to earn both college and high school credit at the same time. Concurrent enrollment is when a high school senior enrolls in a college course for college credit only.
