Freshmen students
Students who have or will soon receive a high school diploma or GED.
 Freshman-Transfer students
 Undergraduates who have or are attending another  institution and have earned 1-23 college credit  hours.

Transfer students
Undergraduates who have or are attending another institution and have earned 24+ college credit hours.

 International students
Undergraduates who are not U.S. citizens nor are  permanent residents of the United States.
Transient students
Temporary students or non-degree seeking students wanting to take classes for personal enrichment.
 International Study Center
An intensive English training center that prepares  international students for entrance to A&M-Corpus  Christi.
Post-baccalaureate students
Students who already hold a Bachelor's degree and wish to pursue additional undergraduate work.
 Former (returning) students
Students who were previously enrolled but have  taken a break from enrollment of one year or longer.
Concurrent enrollment
Students who wish to enroll during the last semester(s) of their senior year.
 Graduate students
Students who already hold a Bachelor's degree and  wish to pursue a Master or Doctoral degree.
Homeschooled Students
Students who have been homeschooled.
 Dual credit
High school students wishing to take courses for  both high school and college credit.

Program for System Admission (PSA) 
Students selected to participate in the TAMU PSA program.

 Out of State Online Program Students
Students who reside in a state other than Texas  and wish to enroll in a fully online program.
